Additional time needed to reach the Royal Free Hospital using public transport
The Highgate Society has used TfL’s internet journey planner to undertake its own analysis of the travel times to the Royal Free Hospital from various locations in the Whittington catchment area. Given that it is virtually impossible to park in the vicinity of the RFH, these travel times are by public transport.
For Haringey residents journeys to the Royal Free by public transport would on average take 30 minutes longer than to the Whittington.

Journey times are based on a resident leaving the house at noon on a Monday. The time given is for the total journey, including time walking, waiting and travelling by bus, tube or train.
* Defend the Whittington Hospital Coalition was set up to build a united opposition to the proposals to close the Accident and Emergency Department at the Whittington Hospital. It is non political and is made up of local groups and individuals.
